It might even work to boot from that USB-stick you have, if it contains a bootable installation file, but trying with a fresh version won't harm at all.If anything goes wrong Windows 7 won't boot, not even safe mode...
When I try repair option it loads some of the Windows files and then stops. This morning PC was on running fine. What could have gone wrong ???Did the burning process complete successfully?Are you burning to a new blank CD-R, or are you attempting to use a re-writable CD-RW?Can you test that the I even tried system restore and it keeps going into safe mode again and again.
