The cursor would be there for a second or 2 then it was gone too. It restarts and it is fine. You may need to adjust your antivirus program (like turn off Norton’s Tamper Protection feature) or perform scans before attempting to run System Restore again. My Windows 7 System Restore just doesn't want to work!I hope you and the other members can help me out. I got a system restore cd from my computer manufacturers, but the system never detects them. but that is becouse for those 2 or 3 applications requirements Linux is a vyable OS , as in it can be used successfully (it is commonly used now by many System Restore Did Not Complete Successfully Windows 10 I called Microsoft back and they transferred me to Microsoft in Thailand.

On my Windows 7 I had to do a search in Control Panel to find Services, and when I found it System Restore also was not listed. When done, you are asked to select the keyboard input method. Type eventvwr.msc /s in Search Box & hit Enter to open the Event Viewer. When I found System Restore didn't work - NOT EVER - I switched to Linux.
