I tried running the debug version of the exe which does not give any insight, after loading kernel dl it stops with same error. Hi,Generally after configuring OpenCV in way you showed here I was able to load images and play films (.avi), but not using code you wrote because I cannot include "stdafx.h". I do not believe that the error code contains only 7 hex digits. A fresh installation of windows with nothing else shouldn't have this problem, correct? the important thing to notice, is that MSVCP100D.DLL belongs to VS 2010, not 2008. Or did you copy the other project into your solution's directory?
