Converting the web back to a folder....or unselecting the "Include subsites" checkbox on the Publishing tab for Remote Web Site properties, eliminates the error window. I would try a check and fix to see if FPSE corrects itself. This can result in several types of error messages. Thus far I've attempted the following to resolve the error: Altering permissions to the folder Deleting the file "frontpg.lck" and "service.lck" Deleteing the site and recreating it. Check This Out
