All I did was install Eclipse 3.4 and then Subclipse. I’ve twitted, ranted, etc, a lot lately about Eclipse. The subversion client that subclipse uses relies on a javahl bridge which you can normally get as a community release from collab.net. Failed To Load Javahl Library. When restarting Eclipse, it will prompt us to install an SVN client, choose SVNKit or JavaHL (I choose JavaHL).
