daemontools essentailly manages qmail services and ucspi-tcp takes care of TCP connections (somewhat simplified). BTW, I got the qmailctl script from lifewithqmail.org. It solved my problem. Everything seems to be intstalled, but qmai is not working when i run qmailctl stop, i get qmail-smtpd svc: warning: unable to control /service/qmail-smtpd: file does not exist svc: warning: unable Join our community for more solutions or to ask questions.
