If both fail then of course there is a bigger problem but that is how I would approach it. This i very odd. tried everything to get it going and finally this worked. Then it is absolutely worth trying point 2 to validate whether the target path is correct. I was without tfpt shell extensions for a couple of months since I moved my mapped folders to a different location. Tf Workspaces /s The tf.exe tool is available in the subfolder Common7\IDE of your Visual Studio installation folder. Also ensure that the current working directory is mapped, you can run "tf workspace" and see if the target folders are mapped. this contact form worked perfectly fine for me..

Then I just execute the TFPT command from my already mapped TFS workspace directory, like in option 1.
