You can use netstat to see the ports that are open or not quite closed yet. I have tried using the new connection wizard and tried manually installing a new connection. The listening TCP ports I have right now can only be accessed from localhost. Had to restore system to earlier date to regain tcpip functionality on wireless connection.
Does anyone know of a way to fix this problem by tweaking registries? The time now is 02:01 PM. Look for any warnings in System protocol with ID: 4227, 4231 from TCP/IP source. Apparently, if you do something to uninstall/reinstall CUPS (like in my case thinking that I couldn't do LPD print services with CUPS and would need LRPng...oops...) and you already have SAMBA I would appreciate any help on this. I've also run into a situation where there were two firewalls installed, and you needed to configure them both properly.
