by the way when i do windows 7 compatablity check i get everything is compatable. i have a user on the win 7 pc just for sharing it requiers a passwrd. If I reboot my server it works once again but there is some strange cut off point where after a day or so my XP machines can no longer connect. Permissions verified. his comment is here

Any help would be appreciated. This machine then has a shared folder with all the stored images. If you get that far, try sharing the folder again. also in my laptop i have win 7 i have a workgroup.
